Shared amenities include: secured 24/7 access, high speed wireless internet (wired in the private offices and suite), shared kitchen with coffee/tea, shared lounge spaces, games area, scanner, two phone booths, rooftop patio and all of our awesome member activities and events, such as the Acme Anvil Pitch Competition.

The Virtual Office includes a professional mailing address, Acme staff will receive and hold mail and packages and or will scan contents of mail to you at your request.

Shared Tables
This is a great starter option. Available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm you’ll sit at a harvest size table with up to seven other workers. You can also use all the shared spaces including the kitchen, lounges and rooftop patio. Meeting rooms and photocopier/printer are available on a pay per use basis.

PLAY NICE

Shared Tables
These membership packages give you great flexibility. You’ll share a harvest size table with up to seven other workers with access to all the shared spaces including the kitchen, lounges and rooftop patio. Meeting rooms, photocopier/printer and postal service are available on a pay per use basis. You can use a locker to stash your stuff if you need to run out for a meeting (bring your own lock!).

Dedicated Desk
If you need a little more space and privacy this is the package for you. You’ll sit at a dedicated desk that only you will use. A lockable, pedestal filing cabinet and 3 hours of monthly meeting room time, as well as all shared amenities and postal service are included. Additional meeting room hours and photocopier/printer available are on a pay per use basis.

THE BIG CHEESE

Private Office
If you’re a small company, a group of workers, you’re working on a secret deal or just like your privacy, this is the package for you. We have a range of dedicated, lockable, customizable offices that can accommodate 1-6 workers. All shared amenities, postal service and 10 hours of meeting room time are included. Additional meeting room hours and photocopier/printer available are on a pay per use basis. * Rates quoted are for one person, each additional person = $75 per month.

A six month commitment is required.

SUITE DEAL

Office Suite | Group of 5 - 8 workers
This lockable, self-contained space can easily accommodate five to eight people, plus a small meeting table and additional filing storage, shelving or display units. Ideal for a small design, legal, accounting, software or creative company, this package includes all shared amenities, postal service and 15 hours of monthly meeting room time. Additional meeting room hours and photocopier/printer are available on a pay per use basis. The rate is for one person, each additional person = $75 per month.

A six month commitment is required.

FAQS

Acme Works became a glint in the eye of founder Christine Andrews in the summer of 2012. Through the fall she hammered out the business plan. In January of 2013 the renovation on our space began and we opened for business in April of 2013.

Our community is comprised of almost every type of business you can imagine including creative, cultural, digital marketing, AI and machine learning, blockchain, social media, game and application development, public relations, sports and event management, philanthropic and a whole bunch of independent workers, including mobile, contract, temporary or entrepreneurial.

Our space operates on mutual respect between our members. While taking a quick call at your desk is cool, if you need privacy you can use a phone booth or book a boardroom for an extended or group call. Informal meetings are part of coworking. We have mobile white boards to make them easier but if you’re hosting a formal meeting or need a screen to share top secret information then the kitchen, lounge or your desk might not be the right location. You can book one of our three meeting rooms.

Nope, you must bring your own computer. We offer desks, shared tables or a range of private offices able to accommodate 1-8 people. Everyone gets to use the kitchen, shared lounge spaces, rooftop patio, standing desks and games room. Wifi, coffee, tea and water are included and we have lockers where you can stash your stuff if you’re at the shared tables. Meeting rooms are available to book and meeting room credits are included in some packages.

No, but we strongly encourage you to come and visit, spend some time and get a feel for the space. Every coworking space is different and you should pick the one that feels right to you. Honestly, it works best for you and for us if we meet face to face before you commit to the space.

No way. We offer a variety of packages to give you the greatest flexibility. If you are comfortable sharing a table you can buy packages on a daily basis. If you select one of our private desk packages you can roll month to month. However, if you want a private office we will require a six month commitment.
